I'm really worried about how I'll cope sat in this heat for an hour tomorrow afternoon.

I wouldn't go but it's quite a special event that I don't want to miss.

I'm 23 weeks and feel quite ill most days in this heat.

Wwyd? Any tips on how to stay cool outside in this?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Small fan
Wet flannel in a zip lock bag that you can drape across the back of your neck, this works wonders
Hat
Try and find a shady spot

Take an umbrella!

I’m 31 weeks and had to attend an outdoor event at my daughters school today for just over an hour.

It was scorching hot, but I wore a hat, plenty of sun cream on, had a bottle of water with me etc. I’d brought a camping stool with me in case there was no seating but thankfully there was. They’d also put some gazibos up for parents to sit/stand under which helped massively.

Thank you. They're great ideas. I've got freezer blocks so might take those ☀️
