Hi all, I have suffered 2 miscarriages my recent was in April. I have just found out im pregnant again and very scared and nervous. The nurse advised last time for me to take a baby asprin 75mg upto 34 weeks. I'm in two minds about this as I have heard mix reviews. Has anyone ever taken this for reacirring miscarriages and gone full term? Thank you

Yes, I had seven losses, took baby aspirin to 39 weeks planned section in two pregnancies.

Thanks for asking the question op. I'm interested in this too

Three miscarriages, took 150mg aspirin, high dose folic acid, progesterone, vitamin B from ovulation date (so before positive test) now 30 weeks pregnant.

I would also push for progesterone prescription, you can find more info on Tommy’s website. Aspirin won’t harm you or the baby so worth trying.

Thank you so much this is so reassuring. I shoukd of took it when I found out Thursday but I've been in 2 minds so I will take it tonight. Yes the nurse said once they find a heartbeat I will be taking 200mg pessaries up until I'm 12 weeks.

Seems all quite low to me. I took 2x400mg pessaries a day and 150mg aspirin. 🤷🏻‍♀️But no expert of course

Yes I did after 2 miscarriages. Sending you positive vibes.

NatMoz · 19/07/2021 20:53

I'm at 19 weeks with aspirin after miscarriage

deedsnotwords11 · 19/07/2021 20:58

Two miscarriages, advised to take 75mg aspirin from positive test until birth. Happy healthy one year old!

I'm interested in this too. I've had several miscarriages after IVF. I have progesterone but have never tried the baby aspirin before.

Babyghirl · 19/07/2021 21:03

@Natalie1285
They now say the recommended dose is now 150 for people with rmc, and also best to take it and night time I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp ttc num 1, so will get progesterone and aspirin on my nxt bfp.

lockdownbabyx · 19/07/2021 21:07

After 3 losses, I started taking aspirin from ovulation this time, best thing I ever did. My pregnancy has been so different this time from the get go, got my positive early at 9dpo, super strong lines on tests whereas before they were always faint! I'm now 25 weeks and everything is going perfect 😁 xx

Luckystar1 · 19/07/2021 21:16

Yes me. I took 75mg after 4 miscarriages. A nurse advised me to take it after miscarriage #3 but a doctor said not to, so I didn’t and had another mc. Took it with my last pregnancy and have a very happy and healthy (and gorgeous!) 9 month old!

Natalie1285 · 20/07/2021 15:37

I love all these positive comments thank you so much I took my first asprin last night and I felt so much more at ease after here's to full term 🤞I get my first scan at 7 weeks the suspense is killing me.

zeromango · 21/07/2021 00:08

Yes I did, two prior MCs, took aspirin with my last pregnancy and same again with this one (16 weeks now!)

Moominmiss · 21/07/2021 09:38

I had 4 miscarriages in a row. Tears showed no reason for losses.

I then took 150mg aspirin from 1dpo and am now currently 31 weeks pregnant. Midwife and consultant both want me to continue taking it until a week before my scheduled c section.

Moominmiss · 21/07/2021 09:40

That should have said tests not tears 🙄

Natalie1285 · 21/07/2021 11:28

Unfortunately I ended up in hospital last night I had a severe reaction to the asprin my face and throat swelled up so I can no longer take it I just hope I can get through this pregnancy without it 😔

@Natalie1285 oh my god I'm so sorry! How scary for you. I have taken aspirin before so I knew I was ok in that regards. Hope you're ok now 🧡 xx
