Panorama test

Hi ladies!

I’m booked in for my panorama test this week. I’ll be 9+1.

I’m wondering when everyone got theirs?

I’m worried that it’ll be too early and the results will be inconclusive. We have to drive 4 hours for the test and the next available appt they had was at 12 weeks.

Thanks!

I had a harmony test done at 11+6 which came back inconclusive.

I then opted to have the SAFE nipt done instead 2 days later and we got the results.

I had the Panorama when I lived in the US. My doctors office wouldn’t do it before 11 weeks as too likely to be inconclusive. I had mine at 11+3 and all fine but 9 weeks does sound very early. Do you have to have Panorama? Have you looked for other NIPT providers in your area? I think Harmony is more common in the U.K. and you might have more luck getting a suitable appointment slot if you find somewhere that does that instead. Also, unless it’s changed very recently (I just had my baby) then bloods have to be sent to California with Panorama so if you’re U.K. based you might also have a long wait for results.

I had mine at 10 weeks which was inconclusive. Had a redraw at 12 weeks which was fine. It's abit of a risk but you might be ok! X

@LakeShoreD it still gets sent to US. The lady said it takes 10 days to come back. I did think about the Harmony test but they don’t check for triploidy- my last mc was at 12 weeks with triploidy so I 100% wanna test for it this time. They advertise it as 9 weeks + so I’m guessing it must work then but yeh, chances of needing a redraw are high.
