I had my c section on 1st July and it started bleeding on the 3rd day, there was no sign of infection. However , I went to triage to get it checked and a doctor did a swab on it , and then it started bleeding like hell. They said there is a heamoterma and will get better with time, even after 2 weeks o was still bleeding and got a call from triage saying the swab is positive and I need to come to the hospital and then prescribed an antibiotic, now the colour of my discharge is light red with yellowish tinge and today is 19th day and I still haven’t seen any progress interms of my wound, I am currently bit depressed and pls share if you got any similar stories

Are you still on antibiotics? Yellow discharge doesn't sound right

Yes , I am clindermycin , talked to a dr at triage on the phone today and she said it looks like my wound is getting healed, however I am going to a private consultation with gynaecologist tomorrow.

@Dil1984
Hello, it's so tough I went through the same thing.
My baby is 5 months old. And I had to be readmitted 5 days after birth for a haemoterma. 5 weeks later I was still bleeding, which is normal for a H, but it got infected. By the 7th week I had to be reopened and drained. Then went to the drs every single day for 11 weeks. I got signed off last week!
My case is incredible rare and extreme. But if I could give you one piece of advice is don't sit on it and let them palm you off ('let's see how it is in two weeks time' etc). Make sure you keep on top of it very week.
I really feel for you - and during your stage I never thought I'd see the light, but I promise that once you are fully back to health, it's like a distant memory. Here to chat if you need to x
