Hi All, so yesterday morning I had an appointment with the early pregnancy unit as I had spotting and pain. All went well saw baby and heart beat and was told everything was good. Come 5pm I started to bleed heavily and pass massive clots with bad cramping I’m 100% sure I miscarried. I now have to wait till Monday to even speak to anyone. It’s just a very confusing and sad time to be told one minute all is okay to losing it a few hours later. Has anyone one else experienced this before? X

So sorry you are going through this. I had this as well though slightly different circumstances. I had a twelve week scan and started bleeding three weeks later. They scanned me and baby was measuring the same size as at my 12 week scan and sadly had no heartbeat. It’s really hard to get your head around when you’ve seen a healthy heartbeat and seems very cruel. Look after yourself x

Oh wow it’s such a cruel world, how are you coping? I’m feeling very lost and empty. Hope your looking after yourself x

I had this when I miscarried at 10 weeks back in May. I'd been spotting on and off for weeks but bloods and everything kept coming back fine. In the end I went for a private scan and everything looked great, she commented the heart rate was a little slow but not so slow that it was concerning and she couldn't see the source of the spotting. I was absolutely over the moon, then the next day I suddenly just started bleeding really heavily. EPU couldn't get me in for a scan for another 2 days, I had already passed the baby before my appointment time came.
It was traumatising and I'm so so sorry that you're experiencing similar. Take time to come to terms with it and look after yourself. If you're in any severe pain or bleeding excessively, do make sure you get to a&e Flowers

Mine was nearly three years ago now and I’ve had my lovely little boy since, thank you for asking. I have moments when I look back and feel sad and sometimes wonder how I managed to just carry on day to day, but you do. How are you feeling? Did you manage to speak to anyone today?

I had a scan at 7 weeks and saw a heartbeat and started bleeding the next day
I personally felt it hit harder because I'd had a scan and seen heartbeat
That was in December and I'm now 22 weeks pregnant
