XMAS outfit ???

My works xmas do..in a few week...posh hotel we all usually dress up
I wil be 38+2 weeks pregnant..I have a nice pair of black flared trousers and silver shoes (flat or heels depending on how I feel) and silver accessories....so I need a NICE top..am sick of internet catalogue shopping ..I WANT to go shopping on the high street..I don't want to spend a fortune...advice ladies where or what???

H and M, dorothy perkins, Next all do maternity wear, some of the DP stuff would look good with black trousers, and agree with silver shoes. and not too pricey, as you wont be wearing maternity clothes for much longer. or an NCT sale near you - look on the website for dates.

and some of the non maternity wear out there is still smock like, which you may be able to get away with depending on your size.

Topshop had some nice dressy tops in their maternity section that i was stroking the other day

I just bought this to go with my black trousers and silver shoes - it's a lot nicer in the flesh than the photo shows - and it looks fab on too!

I saw some nice non maternity tops in new look with pretty fabrics, I got my works do top in here as it is floaty, long and has a tie back. A lot of their designs seem to be smocks or tie backs which are great - and they are cheap too. A lot of maternity wear I have seen on the high street is incredibly bland and over priced, esp' for a night out.(Depends where you live I s'pose)Good luck!
