It seems to have only started from I got pregnant can babies tell when your pregnant

I feel so bad for when the other baby comes I'm scared hes going be so upset
I love how close he is too me but I dont want him getting strange with everyone else

No real advice (sorry!) but just to say my 10mo DS was the same way with me starting around the same time & I'm not pregnant.

Perhaps the two aren't linked and it's just a bit of "normal" separation anxiety.

Even now at 14 months, when my DS is tired & his dad goes to take him up to bed he will bury himself into me & cling on.

My son was super clingy for as long as I remember. I thought it would last forever and worried about him starting nursery but around the time he learned how to bum shuffle about and got some independence he drastically improved. The week he turned 1 I suddenly realised I could go to another room without him crying and finally managed to leave him with my parents for an hour!

He still wants me when upset etc but what a difference from the baby who constantly had an eye on me.

It’s the prime age for separation anxiety.
Nothing to do with being pregnant. Mine were the same - it’s hard but keep telling yourself it’s a phase.
