I have a toddler so don't have much choice to stay in the shade as I need to keep her entertained. I've got an spf50 tent that I can put up but it's still really hot. I'm counting down the weeks Grin

Yes!

35 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old. Really struggling with the heat and being able to play with him during the day. Also getting to sleep on a night is hard when it's so groggy, luckily once I'm asleep I sleep well.

Yep, 35wk and a dog to walk when kids are at school. I felt buggered walking dog the other day and boiling, stopped to check my heart rate and it was 169!! That's red zone, I wasn't even walking that fast. I try to stay out of the sun as it's far too hot and I refuse to buy any new clothes big enough for bump now so not the coolest wear.

Chelyanne · 15/07/2021 09:29

Don't sleep more than a few hours at a time, permanently exhausted but must power through lol

Sheisfee · 15/07/2021 10:09

🥵 🥵🥵🥵 35 weeks and feel like I’m melllllllting!

Sheisfee · 15/07/2021 10:10

This isn’t even as hot as it’s going to get! 🥺

Bells3032 · 15/07/2021 10:11

I'm only 11 weeks and struggling! I seem to have heat induced morning sickness. So I am sitting in front of a fan non-stop

Bythemillpond · 15/07/2021 10:11

Where are you. All we have is rain

MM1993 · 15/07/2021 10:55

@Bythemillpond - I was wondering the same! 😂 I'm in South London and there's been no heat here for weeks, it'a been lovely and cool

MikeWozniaksGloriousTache · 15/07/2021 10:57

35 weeks too and only surviving with a copious amount of fans in the house.

Bythemillpond · 15/07/2021 11:00

MM1993
We are just north of north London.
It is depressing as it looks like rain again. We have had our heating on

livingwithbees · 15/07/2021 11:01

It’s not too bad here either (south east England), fan in the late afternoon and evening but seem to be coping ok so far. Only 21 degrees though and overcast.

Shootingstar11 · 15/07/2021 11:31

Yes omg! My house is really well insulated as well and today is so warm, I’m staying in and sitting in front of a fan as at 37 weeks garden furniture is so uncomfortable and if I do more than 2 steps I’m sweltered! 🥵🥵🥵

Sheisfee · 15/07/2021 12:23

I’m in Plymouth and it’s 25 degrees at the moment. Staying in the house eating ice lollies!

crystaltips98 · 15/07/2021 13:27

31 weeks and inside watching tv after spending most of my toddlers life outside its just too hot and Im too tired lol

PrimeraVez · 15/07/2021 13:43

33w with number 3 and it’s around 45 degrees where I am. Went for a power walk early this morning before it went above 40 and literally had sweat running down my bump and legs by the time I got home.

Very, very grateful to have AC in our house though, can only imagine how hard sleeping in the heat would be!

Arecklessmanor · 15/07/2021 14:17

I'm in the Southwest and the weather is rubbish for summer, have had the heating on this week for the first time in ages.
But feel sorry for those struggling with heat. Glad you have AC @PrimeraVez

I’m nearly 31 weeks, near Bristol and it’s roasting. About 27 degrees and I’m melting. It’s just supposedly getting hotter from tomorrow and over the weekend and I honestly don’t want to do anything but lie naked on my bed with the fan on.

I do have some magicool spray though which is pretty amazing for a quick cool down.

Rubyrecka · 15/07/2021 19:17

29 weeks and boiling. My feet are swollen and I have to constantly drink to not be dehydrated!! Being back the rain.

baldafrique · 15/07/2021 19:19

29 weeks and the heat is making me so tired! But hard to sleep at night!
