Hi everyone, I hope you're all keeping well.

By my estimates I'm about 6+4 (although there is some confusion as I had a proper period on 19th April followed by 3 positive test then light bleeding the end of May and a negative blood test in early June). Because of this confusion (they want to make sure I'm not further along than I think), I have my booking appointment on Sunday. This is going to be on the phone and I've been advised that it'll be 45 minutes to an hour.

My question is, what can I expect? I can't imagine that, with my limited medical information, the call will take this long. Has anyone had a phone call booking appointment recently? How was it? Are there any things in particular that I should be prepared for them asking?

They will take yours and your family medical history and then book you in at your local hospital for bloods the call is pretty straight forward really yes and no answers mainly.

I had my telephone booking appointment in March, letter said it would be an hour but it was more like 30 minutes. As pp said they ask you medical questions about you, baby's father & your family.

Your family only includes close relatives ie parents & siblings. I could answer all the questions but if you're unsure about family medical issues you could check with your relatives. It's mainly major issues such as stroke, cancer, heart disease, diabetes etc.

Oh they'll probably also ask you if you're safe with your partner to check for any domestic violence etc
