Light brown discharge??

Hi, I am 8 weeks and 5 days and today when I was at the toilet when I wiped I had the tiniest bit of discharge that was tinted a light brown colour I wiped again and had normal white coloured discharge as well. I have already phoned the early pregnancy unit and they said it could just be old blood but to call back if anything changes. I've been to the toilet since and had no more when wiping. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and everything has been okay? I'm very anxious as I have previously had a miscarriage. Thanks

I had pink discharge at about 7 weeks and booked an early private scan. Had had a miscarriage previously also and was very worried. It was a little haematoma in the womb, about 1 cubic cm of blood visible in the scan. The sonographer told me it can be quite common when the placenta is forming. It reabsorbed, I didn't see any more come out, but the early private scan really reassured me. If it's an option where you live it might be worth doing - it was £70 here in London and they fitted me in on the same day when I mentioned spotting

Hi OP, I had the same around weeks 6-8. They said it’s pretty common at that time, but do get it checked out to know for sure.

Yes, had it daily between weeks 6 and 9. He's 4 now!
