Tonight I stared spotting so the bleed most of us dread is inevitable and upon me shortly. This time I genuinely thought all would be well and we would finally have our baby. Also on cyclogest pessaries and aspirin which still has not worked. 5 weeks tomorrow every single time to the day that's when the bleeding starts. I have no idea where to turn or what to do next. The specialist has said all my blood work is normal but surely there must be more problems to be checked. Surely this can't just be sheer 'bad luck' or 'one of those things' I feel drained emotionally and physically just simply drained and angry. Has anyone had any similar experiences and finally had their long awaited baby? Or is there anything I can request to be checked? Any advice would be much appreciated xx

I'm so so so sorry. Please also get your partner checked. His bloods, sperm etc can also be checked. Good luck and again, so sorry x

@Sunny56 just to let you know as I read what I was going for and remembered it was what you said. It's the Birmingham research trials that my specialist is putting me on not sure if you could ask yours about it? X

@charlotte0808 I actually email Tommy's Birmingham yesterday to ask if they can do anymore test and they said if I want to take part in research trials I need to make an appointment. Now I'm a bit torn between going privately for NK cells or doing it through Tommy's, as privately it will happen much faster than waiting for Tommy's.

The thing is, most losses at 5 weeks would never even be noticed, so it is probably exceedingly common, and you are just more aware
