One step pregnancy tests, bought 20 off of eBay, first used Friday and negative, yesterday couldn’t decide if it was negative or evap lines (3 out of 4 had faint lines, this morning used fmu, 5 tests all have a faint line, like really really squinty…done a frer and I’m not sure if there’s a major faint line or if my eyes are playing tricks because of the one step ones…anyone else had this? Are the one steps reliable, would I get evap lines on all tests in the exact same spot?

Best to use clear blue tests as they give u an indication of how many weeks u are aswell! They are expensive but worth it

I gave up with them. I know they say don’t look at a frer after the time limit but I got a negative at 12dpo (was shining my phone light on it, taking pictures and changing the brightness- the lot!) then the next day I did another one and quite an obvious line appeared. I dug the day before’s out the bin and there was a faint but definite line. I know people say not to but I always think how I wished I’d had another look at it the night before 😂

My last batch of OneSteps were ridiculous, no line really when I was getting very clear lines on FRER and positive digitals! I wouldn't recommend them anymore, if you think they have faint lines get yourself a FRER Smile

I meant positive not negative in my first post....done 3 one steps this morning, again faint line, frer nothing...I think the one steps are dodgy, I've read loads about them having evap lines looking like positives. X

I have the one steps. I find they are really not that sensitive. I got a faint positive on CB last night, faints on Tesco the day before and only very very faint squinty ones on One Steps. Almost thought I was imagining the lines. Finally got a better line on one step this morning. I am only 12DPO but the one steps are supposed to be more sensitive than the CB one.

Update....still no af, pound shop and b&m tests all negative, first response last week negative...try again later this week x

One steps only give squinty lines for a while.

Very early lines on them often take a long time to dry. I frequently keep them several hours as a very early line dries more visibly on them.

Take a FRER as gospel, though.
