Okay so.

Here I am, 36 days late on my period. I’ve been pretty sure I’m pregnant but the tests are still coming up negative. I had weeks of morning sickness, cravings, aversions, fatigue, my breasts feel swollen. Etc.

I just don’t know what to do. Should I be patient and keep testing/waiting? Should I be concerned and try to see a dr? (I don’t have insurance right now)

I’ve been taking prenatal vitamins and trying to just stay relaxed about it. But it is driving me nuts playing this game of am I or am I not? And if I’m not should I be worried about other possible health issues?

Missing a period is very unusual for me. Sometimes my monthly adjusts to a different week but I’ve never just missed two periods in a row.

Every morning I’m waking up nauseous and starving.

Also have been craving red meat which I don’t normally eat.

Idk. Someone advise me please. Lol.

Go to the Dr and ask for a blood test??

Garman · 11/07/2021 15:27

Yes just go to your gp? If the tests are all negative it's unlikely you are pregnant, but going to a doctor for a test would be much better than just wondering and waiting for months.

It sounds extremely unlikely you're pregnant, you haven't had a single positive test. I would go the gp for tests to see why your period is so late and if you currently have any other health issues.

Yeah, I’d second seeing a GP.

You’d be around 7 weeks pregnant, if my maths is correct - you should be getting positive pregnancy tests by now, and it’d be early for a lot of those symptoms, although they do vary. Ive had almost none of them and I’m now 17 weeks.

I’d make an appointment with your GP so they can help work out what’s going on Flowers

I skipped one period after my Moderna COVID jab. Could this be the case?

Skyliner007 · 11/07/2021 16:28

No, I haven’t had the COVID vaccine yet. I’ve been nervous about it hearing about mixed reactions

So also. I did have one test that looked faintly positive, I showed my friend and she advised me to re test in a few days. Since then, they have all been negative, but still no period or any of my usual signs/feelings of it coming.

Thoughts on that?

If you think you had a faint positive it would certainly be getting darker and being so late on your period it would show straight away.
Try GP for a blood test but if your getting all negatives I can't see it being positive I'm afraid.
Are you under any stress or anything? It can have an impact on your cycles.

Skyliner007 · 11/07/2021 16:45

Honestly aside from this, I’m the least stressed out I’ve been in a long time. This is just very strange to me.

I really appreciate each of you taking the time to respond to me. I’ve been working out of town, going home this coming weekend, y’all think I’ll be okay to wait til I’m back home to see a dr that I know/trust?

I would also encourage you to go see your GP. I work in obstetric ultrasound and I'd expect you to have a positive result by now.
I will add that when I was TTC years ago for some reason my periods, that had been super regular down to the day since I was 11, suddenly became very erratic. Not sure if it's a physiological thing or what. You have my sympathies though.
