Pregnant for the fourth time no successful pregnancies. Been prescribed aspirin and progesterone pessaries this time was hoping it would make a difference but I'm pretty certain it's just delaying the inevitable. The pink test was Thursday the other 2 and from about 20 mins ago. Just looking for any last bit of hope with and success stories really or advice if anyone been in similar situation did they come off the pessaries to hopefully let it pass naturally? Tia

Cheapies can be really hit or miss on how dark they get. Even between batches some seem to have way more dye than others too. I remember trying two on the same pot of wee and the line was much darker on one than the other!

Thanks for the reply @Elune just another waiting game. Don't know what to do with the pessaries to stop them or not 🙈 feel like I don't get anywhere with epu or the doctors and my specialist only works on a Wednesday. Nightmare

I would just keep taking them until you can talk to your specialist. No reason to think anything is wrong until you know for sure Thanks

I would keep taking the pessaries and have hcg blood tests a few days apart.

I also wouldn't compare different types of tests, it will only cause you stress.
Maybe do a FRER a few days apart.

Hoping for a good outcome 💐

@charlotte0808 keep taking the progesterone. Please do not stop. If you don't get anywhere with your GP for two HCG blood tests, you could order a home finger prick test medichecks.com/products/pregnancy-progress-blood-test

Urine tests can be very hit and miss - sometimes it can depend how much dye is in each test rather than showing how the pregnancy is progressing.

Thank you everyone. Ok I will keep taking them. Hoping everything will be fine. I'll ring the gp on Monday hopefully can have the bloods too x

Definitely don’t stop taking anything just yet. Pregnancy test colour and depth is NOT a reliable indicator of pregnancy.

If it were me, I would book a scan for 7 weeks. You would be very likely to see a heartbeat and viable pregnancy at that point if it is progressing.
Good luck. Having had four miscarriages I know how terrifying it can be to get pregnant. Flowers

@charlotte0808
Please don't stop taking anything cheap strips can need higher hormones to be dark but also how deluted your urine was as the stripe test was nt long taking, I understand the nervous part thou I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp and will be on progesterone on my nxt bfp and hoping for a beeter outcome 💚

charlotte0808 · 10/07/2021 18:48

@Babyghirl @Greytminds sorry to hear about your losses. It is a constant worry isn't it. Pretty much have had any enjoyment or excitement stolen for any future pregnancies. My partner just keeps saying I'm being negative but I'd rather not be positive for more disappointment and be realistic. I have a scan booked for 23rd July but again I would hate to go there with any expectations thinking it will all be fine just for another horrible blow. Hopefully all will be well xx

@charlotte0808
I knw what u mean everytime I get a bfp I distance myself from the pregnancy to safe myself from heartache, it nt if I lose its when I lose and its an awful feeling to have but be sured we will get r rainbow babies just taking a wee bit longer than wanted xx

charlotte0808 · 10/07/2021 19:13

@Babyghirl I did start feeling better last pregnancy was April and took me a while but I was feeling ok in myself this time wasn't planned so I kind of thought it was a 'sign' and meant to be but I don't think it will ever be that easy. My friend is 5 weeks pregnant 8 days ahead of me at the moment and the thought of hers going well and mine not kills me not that I would want anything bad to happen for her I feel awful feeling it but can't help it. Hopefully one day 🤞 xx

You can't really compare different tests. Keep taking your prescription! Will keep everything crossed for you.
