Funny feeling down there

Hey I am 34 weeks tomorrow and for the past 2 days I have had the weirdest feelings down below whenever the baby moves. Struggling to find the right words to describe it but it's like a pressure, not an ache more like a shooting pain. It is actually quite painful but lasts a couple of seconds max! It only happens when the baby moves and movements have became a lot bigger but less often (I have been in to have this checked and everything seemed fine)

Is this something that generally happens towards the end of a pregnancy? Is it a sign of baby moving lower?

It stops me in my tracks and I have an instant urge to cross my legs, so scared of my waters breaking in public 🙈

I think it's commonly known as lightning crotch! I never got it thank goodness! Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah think it’s lightening crotch! I’m 35 weeks and experienced it for the first time a few weeks ago while on a dog walk. I had to stop and sit down 🙈 it then went away for ages but it just randomly happens now every so often if I stand up and walk suddenly. It’s a horrible feeling! I’ve been working from home and now off but I said to my partner I couldn’t hide this feeling if I was at work right now 😂
