What is on this scan???

I'm only 5 weeks so the gestation sac is seen but that are three black dots inside it??

did your sonographer tell you?

No and I'm baffled / freaking out it's something bad. She just said the gestational sac is measuring as should be. Not back for another 2 weeks.

It's probably just the way the picture was taken.

if it was bad, they'd have told you. :)

@00100001 you're right she'd have said if bad she said all fine for now and rebooked me for two weeks and gave me the picture now my minds gone 0-60.

I don't think I have even one picture where it looks like I have a human baby in there and I'm 37+5 lol. You can't interpret anything based on this picture because it depends on how much pressure the sonographer was applying and where as to what it shows.

I am not a sonographer but it just looks like a gestational sac to me- sac appears black on the scan- so likely that they weren't pressing down that hard when this pic was taken or was it done transvaginally?

It was trans vaginal. No yolk sac seen so seems I'm heading for mc

The black dots are, I'm sure are the 'nothing'.. Just fluid.. The grey bits are baby, placenta etc.. Not midwife but 3 of my own and been to plenty of scans in my job.. Please stop worrying... X

And at 6 wks after a big bleed with DD I only saw sack.. Nothing else.. Back a week later and there she was! Size of an apple pip with tiniest flicker.. Her heart! 28 years ago and still fills me up.. Stay hopeful altho I don't know your whole story.. Wishing you all the very best... X

I had a scan approx 4w5-5w to check location of pregnancy and all they could see was sac. Am now 15 weeks.
