Hi, I am 9 weeks pregnant. Seen baby on Tuesday 6/7 everything was perfect baby growing fine all healthy. Seen heart beat. Today I have started bleeding and due to previous loss of twins in March this is very worrying. I have phoned EPAU told me not to worry and keep an eye on the bleeding.

Easy said than done!

Has anyone else experienced this and baby was okay?

Hi @Jordanx I had a big bleed at 8w5d (had also had a scan a few days before and saw heart beat) included red fresh blood, dark blood and then went to brown spotting. I had a scan at epu the next day and baby was fine! We couldn't believe it after so much blood. They saw on the scan I had blood around my uterus which she said was probably from implantation and that I would continue to bleed sometimes. I've been bleeding and spotting again this week (10w3d today) and it is super stressful but they said as long as no cramps and no clots and not filling a pad in 20 minutes it should be fine!

I really hope all works out for you!

@DoctorBambino Wow! That's brilliant news I bet that was so scary! I had a tiny bit of spotting on Sunday night that's why I had the early scan, but it was just once when I wiped pinky colour. Nothing was picked up on the scan as to why it happened and it's only been one toilet trip today when I wiped. I'm hoping it's nothing serious and just normal. I've no pain as such. Just odd period like crank and back a little back ache which I was having before I had the scan so I don't think that's related. EPAU just told me to monitor it and go to A&E if I passed clots or filling pads. Xx
