Hi there Smile,

I know the booking appointment should be around 8 weeks, but how do you know when 8 weeks is? As in how do you calculate it? I had the booking appointment for my first very late so not sure how to calculate it! Thanks so much xxx

It's 8 weeks from the first day of your last period. When you speak to a midwife they will ask you for the first day of your last period, and calculate it from that - they'll figure out when they want to see you, you don't need to. If you've had a positive test, just contact your GP or local midwife team and they will tell you what to do next.

I will be nearly 10 weeks (from last missed period) when I have mine. It depends on your area what you have to do. We have to fill in a form online for our local hospital and then they contact us with booking in and scan dates.
