13+5 scan, can gender theory be wrong?

Had my '12 week' scan today at 13+6 (measuring 13+5)
From the photos my first impression is girl, and many others have commented girl also

Thing is my entire gut tells me it's a boy. Can these theories so early on be wrong or is there anything conclusive in this to show girl?

From my very very limited Grin nub theory expertise, the nub looks forked and parallel to the spine, indicating a girl.

A lot of people have guessed girl with mine too but I'm taking it all with a huge pinch of salt until the 20 week scan. Even then nothing is ever 100% guaranteed until they make their arrival!

Mine was wrong, got told girl but it was a boy. I think some nubs can look girl at this early stage but just haven't developed enough so best to wait until 16 weeks x
