Mucous plug/bloody show 36 weeks?

Hi,
I’m 36+1 and on Monday morning I had a blob of thick mucous when I wiped. Nothing yesterday and then this morning I had the same again but was slightly blood tinged. I happened to have an appointment at hospital today and a scan and they didn’t seem concerned about this but I’m just wondering if it means labour might start soon and hoping I make it to 37 weeks!
This is my third pregnancy and other 2 were born at 40 weeks exactly (induced) and 41+3 so never gone early before.
My baby is measuring about 3 weeks ahead though so I’m getting induced at 38 weeks this time if I make it that far!
Has anyone lost bits of plug/bloody show and then waited a couple of weeks for labour to start or could it be that it’s imminent?
Thanks x

Not the same experience but i first lost some plug at 40 weeks exactly then some more a couple of days later pinkish and then a big (very) bloody show with waters going at 41w2 and baby born a couple of hours later.

From what i have read on here, mucus plug can regenerate so it might or might not be the start of things. Do you have any pain?
