Guess I'm just looking for some kindred spirits here... I'm 34 weeks pregnant and a full time stay at home mum to my son who's 3. I'm just knackered and finding things really difficult now. I have pelvic girdle pain and nausea has just returned unexpectedly. I never thought I'd think this but starting to wonder whether having a newborn and a toddler would be easier than this?!

Ah bless, I am only 16 weeks pregnant but have a 3 year old step son and it can be so so hard! I find that when he's around other kids he is great and he is so excited to be a big brother!
Everything will work out fine, you haven't got long left now :)

Had this pregnant with baby/toddler twice, it's tough but it will get better.
Our kids are now 15, 10, 9, 6 & 6 with baby 6 34wk. I've had SPD from 2nd onwards and it's awful but it eases off after the birth so you probably will find it much easier once baby arrives as your mobility will improve which instantly makes you feel better able to cope. Just hang in there and rest where you can.

Pregnancy is a long hard bloody slog. I'm 37 weeks with a 4 year old and I'm still running about like his PA lol. The easiest thing to do is take him to the beach or somewhere else he can sit and entertain himself for a few hours so I can have a sit down!

Thank you for your posts, really appreciate them. It doesn't help that we've been self isolating for a few days so I haven't had a lot of adult company or seen our like-minded mum friends I think! Like you say @BastardMonkfish (love your name by the way) you're effectively a PA for a toddler, it's pretty full on...

I'm 35 weeks with a 20 month old. Some days are fine and some days are literally appalling and I want to disappear forever. Spend a lot of time wondering WTAF we were thinking having two so close together. Basically, you're not alone.

34 weeks here with a nearly 3 year old. Luckily he goes to nursery but he's been off all this week, just gone back today! It's exhausting.

37 weeks tomorrow and I feel your pain! My husband is at home too so it’s easier for me but I’m still knackered!

36 weeks with an 18 month old! Why do we do this to ourselves!

Mariposa123 · 08/07/2021 12:30

31 weeks with a 2 year old who won’t sit still! I’d it too late to cancel the order?
