I'm 24 weeks with my second and I'm starting to think about labour, my first my waters went didn't progress ended up on the drip and epidural c section was about to happen then all of sudden she was ready to pop out and came out an hour before the c section. This time round im not sure wether I want a an induction or wait it out and go in the birthing centre I know you can't plan but I want some sort of idea in my head , because we are ivf if I want an induction I can have one due date onwards im seeing my consultant at 36 weeks she referred me back to midwife care at the start because I'm still low risk ( age 30 and male factor for the ivf) but said she would get me in to give baby a check and see what birthing options I wanted if I wanted to be induced etc. With my first I didn't get the birth I wanted but the staff were lovely and it was a breeze with the epidural 😅 my reasons for even thinking about induction are that my husband has his own company which we both work for I work from home doing the admin but he works up Aberdeen mon -fri sometimes he stays for 10-11 days depending on if the work is completed or not so would be easier to plan time for him to be home and also childcare , is induction really that bad ? Or should I be brave and try and hold out for a more natural birth (still with lots of gas and air) in the birthing centre ?
