Early miscarriage?

Approximately around 5/6 weeks, I started having cramps this morning and when I went to the toilet, I noticed slight brown mucus/blood bits on the roll. I relaxed for a few hours and the next few times I went to the toilet it was clear.
Now about half hour ago I've just gone to the toilet and again this time there is brown bitty like mucus/blood on the roll, almost like the start of a period. This time it seemed a lighter brown. This is accompanied with cramps but they aren't too horrific.

Is this normal?

No one here will know.

It may well be bleeding during embedment, maybe not.

Just rest, drink water and stay rested as long as you can.

It’s impossible to say if all is fine or not without a scan, obvs. But both cramping and spotting are so so common and often scary but often completely harmless. If it doesn’t get worse that’s definitely a good sign. Best of luck with the pregnancy!

I've rang my local epu and they've said that brown is reassuring if there's not much of it 🤷‍♀️ but they won't scan me for two weeks as they have a two week rule! So guess we will just have to wait it out x
