Urine sample result? Mixed growth?

I had my first midwife appointment last week and gave a urine sample. Ive just looked at my pregnancy notes on the app and the result says mixed growth. Does anyone know what that means?

There are a number of bugs.

There's no one bacteria dominating the urine infection.

Your urine contains bacteria but not any of a significant amount. This is common and nothing to worry about. If you are having symptoms of a urine infection (UTI), then you may require antibiotics but they wouldn't be given on the urine sample results alone
