9 weeks + bleeding

Hi im currently 9 weeks pregnant, this evening I went to the toilet and noticed bright red blood when I wipe. Have rang drs and waiting for call back. Should I be worried? Me and my oh had intercourse this morning but no blood then till this evening.

How much blood

Just when I wipe, just on the tissue. Nothing in the toilet. It's bright red in like a clear stringy discharge. Sorry for tmi

That must be so scary for you, I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s reassuring that it came after sex and there’s not much of it though! When I was pregnant I bled after sex a couple of times and I was terrified but thankfully all was fine hope it is for you too. Could just be friction caused a little tear or cervix irritation from increased blood flow

I'm hoping so just abit concerned as we had sex this morning but no blood until 10 hours later, I did notice I was sore after intercourse. Keeping my fingers crossed💐

This in scary but not nessacerily the end. I had similar, spotting which turned to bleeding at around 7 weeks. Went for a scan at the EPU and there was still a heartbeat, everything fine. I'm 33 weeks now. Can you ask your doctor to refer you to your nearest EPU for a scan to set your mind at rest?

How are you doing OP

Well last night I was great seem to have stopped, but now and then today had some brown discharge. Spoke to epu and midwife and was told to wait and see what I'm like till my mw appointment Friday. Keeping everything crossed💟

I’m 9 weeks today and have had the same thing since Saturday, except there wasn’t any inter-course which set it off. It ranges from brown to more reddy, definitely more if I’m on my feet. Trying not to worry but it’s so hard not too, especially as this is my first! Hopefully things work out for both of us!
