Ways to ease upper back pain? 34 weeks

Hi,

34 weeks with DS2, he's breech and big for dates. I'm on holiday (UK) and my back has completely gone I can barely walk but the thing is, it's my upper back.. sort of along where my bra strap would be.

I'm breathless and I'm struggling with walking. I've had paracetamol but I feel so bad not being able to join in with DS1.

Anyone else been in a similar situation? At this stage with DS1 I had the lower back pain but this upper back pain is tough Sad

If I could stay in bed I completely would, it hurts to do anything that it involved moving

@wjg65ka that is an unusual place to have pain. Has the feeling of being breathless come at about the same time?
If this is a new issue or has suddenly got worse, please do go to the nearest maternity unit and get checked over. Hopefully it is nothing serious, but I think you should be seen today.

@Sussexmidwife I had the same pain during early pregnancy but it disappeared after 12 weeks or so but it's come back today. The breathlessness I put down to recently having a heavy cold (not covid I've had two PCRs) and with the baby being breech I assumed he was putting pressure on my lungs etc

Hope it's not too serious I've lied down and that seems to help as long as I'm slightly propped up
