Best gradual tan

So I’m 25 weeks pregnant and not one for fake tan anyway. But I’ve got a wedding coming up and I’m super pale and I’ve found a dress that I like but I feel like a bit of colour would make me feel a lot better.
Is there any safe gradual tanning moisturisers or fake tan for someone who doesn’t actually use the stuff.
Thanks in advance x

I love bondi sands gradual Tanner (not one of the cheapest but gives the nicest colour, no smell, no greasy and no streaks!) most of the time is 1/3 off in superdrug. Usually around £12

Slightly cheaper and easily available is the garnier apricot summer body one, usually £6/7 in tesco! Never streaked but I find it sits on the big toe, ankle/knees and elbow a bit more so can look a bit darker and can feel greasy but gives a lovely colour after a couple of days build up!

St tropez gradual tan or st tropez express mouse

Shootingstar11 · 05/07/2021 00:01

The St Tropez tanning waters are great, you can put them on in the morning before you dress and they don’t stain your clothes or bedding. Nice natural colour too. I spritz it on then go over my skin with a tanning mitt. It’s always nice and even. It does have a bit of a smell when the tan has developed but not as strong as other tans.

Any of the skinny tan products, I'm ghostly pale and these give me a nice natural colour. I often get lovely comments when I've used it. Current fave is the strawberry mousse one.
Loads of offers online and Superdrug usually have them on sale too!

Thank you! Did any of you use these whilst you were pregnant! Is there any ingredients your meant to avoid! If not I’ll just go to Superdrug and see what I can find out of the suggestions x

I'm currently 38 weeks and been using skinny tan throughout. It's safe in pregnancy

HayB · 06/07/2021 14:50

Skinny tan is fab and really easy to use, bnm sell it for like £4 and it starts working within a few hours.

Best instant tan is the Sally Hansen ‘leg make up’ it’s quite thick but mixed with some moisturiser it goes on well and doesn’t streak at the first sign of rain!

35 weeks pregnant and use skinny tan, lovely natural colour :)

Also been using skinny tan (just the body glow one for me) and am 39 weeks. Haven't used it throughout as was a bit nervous about beauty products in first trimester, but NHS website says gradual tanners are safe and the skinny tan ones claim to contain fewer nasties than others (I didn't buy it specifically for pregnancy though!).

@HayB @Inmypjsagain
What one did you use? I’m useless! But with a pale colour dress it’s definitely needed. Thank you so much!

Currently using this one

www.skinnytan.co.uk/collections/gradual-tan/products/2-for-1-strawberries-cream-whipped-gradual-tanner-150ml

But have used most others as well.
This one smells lovely and I find easy to apply. I get a nice colour after about 6-8 hours.
If I had an event I'd apply 2-3 days before for the first application to see how the colour settles on you.

Isle of paradise tanning water...I use the dark version but it comes in fair and medium too. Spray it on, rub it in with a mitt, wait 5 hours, lovely colour and doesn't smell. £9 from Boots... foolproof and I have had more than my fair share of tanning disasters....
