Dull ache at 7 weeks

Hi guys

I'm 7 weeks today and getting a dull like ache I can only describe as the kind you get just before your period, no pain as such or cramping just an uncomfortable dull ache, I'm told this is the muscles and uterus growing so is quite normal. Has anyone had any similar symptoms and found any relief? Can you apply a warm compress like a wheat bag or is that not advised?

I did. I have that now and I'm a bit further along than you. I'm assuming it's stretching muscles and ligaments, maybe a bit of trapped wind ;)

I had this a lot in my first trimester. I read conflicting reports on using a wheat bag but I was so desperate I gave it a go & it worked a treat. I didn't have it too hot, only kept it on for a few minutes & moved it around a lot. Also using it on my back helped.
