I've experienced 3 MCs in 2020. I'm pregnant again at 9 weeks to the day. I've already had two scans at the early pregnancy clinic. The first they saw a gestational sac and the second a yolk sac but no baby yet. They said it was progressing but i was behind my dates.

I just went to A&E because i had spotting last night and mild period cramps - they've both gone away this morning. The gyne nurse got out an A&E (apparently very basic) ultrasound. She could only see a gestational sac and a tiny, tiny blob which was unidentified and she could see a bit of bleeding at the bottom of the sac (which she said not to worry about as that could have happened at implantation - but would explain spotting). She couldn't see the fetal pole. When i explained that i'm probably behind my dates she said i couldn't read anything into the fact that we couldn't see anything in it, but she didn't sound particularly reassuring and i don't feel particularly hopeful. Even if i was a full two weeks behind i feel like they should be able to see the fetal pole from everything i've read and even if it's a crap scanner. Has anyone else had this experience and it's been ok?
