Hi everyone
I had a sweep at 40+5. Doctor said I was barely 1cm (and she had small fingers!) Not effaced either but she gave my cervix a good rub anyway, not in a painful way. The next day I had what definitely looked like a bloody show, but blood was brown I assume because of the sweep the day before. Was delighted with myself but now today at 41 weeks I've had no further progress and I'm wondering now if the bloody show just came out because she was poking around? Is it a 'real' bloody show do you think? Basically going mad here, over thinking everything and hoping for a natural start to labour
