Hi

Second pregnancy after section
Since 18 weeks, now 20 I’ve been getting braxton hicks almost daily. Not painful at all but tummy goes really tight and hard and then relaxes

Should I be worried about this happening so early?
I don’t recall getting any in my first pregnancy.

Thank you for anyone willing to share

Morning - I've been the same but am now 33 weeks pregnant! Don't remember getting them with my first pregnancy either. I did mention to the midwife and she thought it was normal. I would say they probably start to get a bit stronger as it goes on! Hoping it's good practice when the contractions kick in 😂

Thanks for this. I’m just surprised it was so early. But then the bump is a totally different shape and size this time. Hopefully you’re right.
Did you get them early too

I had them with both of my pregnancies from around 8 weeks and had both babies at full term.
