Hello I found out I was pregnant very early and at around 6 weeks I had spotting...

Then at 8 weeks I had some fresh blood lime a light period for about 3 'wipes' I had a scan that time and everything was fine,

They booked me for another scan in 2 weeks time which was yesterday.... everything was fine baby had grown well and I was 10+5,

Fast forward to now and I've just been to the toilet and had some brown discharge when I wiped, it wasn't a small amount but wasn't a big amount.

Now of course I'm panicking again! I have my 12 week scan in 2 weeks so do I just wait now considering that only yesterday the scan was fine? I feel fine otherwise.

Thank you for your help 🤞🏼

I had off and on bleeding and spotting all through the first and into the second trimester. The baby was born safe and well at term and starts junior school in September :-)

The bleeding/spotting in my case was due to a sub-chorionic haematoma, but that would have been visible on your scan if you (still) had one. Might it be possible you had a small SCH which has resolved - as they generally do - and this spotting is the last of the old blood working its way out?

Fingers crossed you get reassuring scan news again in 2 weeks. Distraction is your friend in the meantime.
