Rib pain

Hi all

Really strange one 20 weeks tomorrow, second pregnancy.
My bump is totally different to first, way higher.
The pain under my ribs is pretty pants

Has anyone else experienced rib pain? I hd it last time but not till 35-36 weeks

Yes, me. I'm a first timer and started getting rib pain at about 28 weeks! The only thing that helped was standing up and stretching, it is getting better/less noticeable now, probably because our ribs are very flexible and expand to accommodate bump (my bra/bikini size went up as a result!!)

You can also gently rub under your ribs where its sore, maybe rub in some bio oil or whatever moisturiser you use

Yes! I’m 21 weeks and it seems to hurt at the top of my bump when I drive. I’ve not had this before x

I’m convinced that dc3 had their feet rammed against me. I thought I’d broken a rib or strained the intercostal muscles from coughing, it was so painful but whatever caused the pain there was nothing my GP could do.
