HELP BFP but lines aren't getting darker on Easy@Home

Hi Ladies,
Can you please reassure me 😖

I got my BFP 5 days ago (15dpo) and have had them on FRERs and Digitals since.
However i started using the E@H cheap strips yesterday (19 dpo) just to monitor as I had some and they are still only showing a faint line and it's not getting darker ?

I've taken a Digi today and it's positive.

Are the E@H tests just a bit rubbish or should I be worried ? (The lines are about the same IRL from yesterday and today)

I had a small amount of brown spotting yesterday afternoon until this morning (tiniest bit when wiping) but that's now stopped. No pains etc.

I have a Early Scan booked for next Thursday (just because I'm a worrier anyway) and bloods booked in next Friday.

I'm sure of my ovulation day as I temp.

Hi OP. In the kindest way possible, put down the pregnancy tests. Darkening lines doesn't tell you anything. If you've had a positive test and you haven't got your period, you're pregnant. Congratulations! Thanks

I agree with @dorothygaleandtoto! In fact, I had the same question when I had my positive test and someone on MN said the same: stop testing. You will drive yourself bonkers. Those tests are notorious for not getting darker.

Mine didn't darken in the first few days either and now I'm nearly 8 weeks and still pregnant.

And congratulations Smile Flowers

Your HCG will only double every two days so try not test every day if you really have the urge to

JackJack84 · 02/07/2021 17:06

Agree with pp's to stop testing, you're definitely pregnant! How far along will you be when you have your scan next week? If it's still early it could cause you more anxiety as it may not show anything definitive & not give you reassurance.

How are you getting on @ohhisammi? X

ohhisammi · 20/07/2021 14:02

Hi @extrababydust123 ♥️
I've been through a bit of a time of it honestly !
Went for an early private scan, and they said I'd miscarried, went for an nhs scan a week later and they said I was pregnant but had implanted late so later than I thought.
That was a week ago, So I have the final scan Thursday to see what's going on 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Hopefully just a early little baby.

How are you doing ?

Hi girls, I know this thread is old but I just wanted to jump on and say that I’m 4 weeks pregnant today, I did a first response on 12DPO and a faint line came up and have been testing daily with easy@home strips since then to make sure LO is still in there (the anxiety is REAL) and the lines are still light but I’m feeling every bit of pregnancy symptoms so I just thought that might reassure anyone who’s worried about that. It’s a scary time for any mum to be so I hope this helps ☺️
