Different vaccines and timeline

Hope someone out there can help!

Had my covid vaccine 12 weeks ago, due for my second jab tomorrow. However I had my whooping cough vaccine last Wednesday (9 days ago) I am sure my midwife said to wait 21 days between vaccines, I text her to confirm and now she had said 10 days between the different vaccine. So I'm confused!

Has anyone else been advised on this in terms of how long you should wait between having them?

I had my whooping cough vaccine booked and then my second COVID vaccine booked for just over a week later, I had read somewhere two weeks between so rescheduled my whooping cough vaccine for two weeks after my COVID jab. However I have just read online that it’s one week between two. I think different places give different information but if your midwife recommending 10 days I’m sure that will be advice she had given you based on nhs advice

I was told by my midwife and vaccination centre to leave 2 weeks between the 2. So I ended up having my first COVID jab and rescheduled my whooping cough one for a week later than I’d had it booked for.

It sounds like it’s different everywhere so I’m sure it’s just a guide. Probably more to make sure you’re over any possible side effects before having another jab.

I think the official advice is at least 7 days between the covid vaccine and any other vaccine, and that this is so any side effects experienced can be more clearly linked to one of the vaccines.
