Has anyone had covid while pregnant?

Just wondering has anyone had covid while being pregnant? I'm 19 weeks pregnant and tested positive for covid at the weekend. I've had both my vaccines and I'm so pleased I have as I've felt so poorly I'd dread to think how I'd feel if I hadn't had them. I have spent most of the last 5 days in bed thankfully my hubby has been great looking after me & the kids.

My SIL got covid at 34 weeks, not vaccinated, had to have an emergency CS, and was on a ventilator for 6 weeks. She had many complications and nearly died several times. Thankfully she pulled through but it has been awful for her. I hope you are well on your way to feeling better, and I'm so glad you had your vaccine.

Thank you. I'm so pleased your SIL pulled through it must of been so awful for her and such a worry for the rest of the family. I have start to feel a little bit better today but I've been poorly for a week now so hopefully this is a turning point.

I am sure you are going to be feeling much better every day. My SIL was also very overweight, aside from being pregnant, and had high blood pressure issues. She definitely had preexisting issues that made her situation much worse.

I had Covid very early on, about 7 weeks, this was before vaccines.
Thankfully I didn’t have a temperature, just fatigue, shortness of breath and loss of taste and smell. My morning sickness was violent this time and apparently that may be due to Covid.
I’m 30 weeks now and have never gotten past the shortness of breath and tachycardia, it’s only gotten worse the more pregnant I’ve gotten. I’m crossing my fingers that it disappears once I’ve had the baby 🤞🏻

I suspect I did shortly before the COVID thing became a big deal, I certainly had the right symptoms! My little one is one now and all was fine, I did partially collapse a lung from coughing so much but no long term issues :)

Hi,
I'm 37 weeks. My DH tested positive yesterday, has had one vaccination and I'm waiting my result but feel well (haven't had my vaccine as wanted to wait till she's born. Had covid last year and naively hoping my antibodies are still active!)
Keeping fingers crossed you stay well and completely understand the worry and anxiety covid brings!!

I'm keeping my legs crossed and hoping I don't go into labour whilst we're isolating as I'd have to do it alone🤞.

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have tested positive today.
I had my first vaccine around 4 weeks ago but still feel a little nervous with testing positives. So far It feels like I have a cold and a bit of a cough.

@HappyMrsR Just wondering how you and baby are doing now? I am currently 19 weeks and tested positive at the weekend. I'm fully vaccinated but still feel pretty poorly at the moment and can't stop worrying as to how this may be affecting the baby!
Hope you've made a full recovery!

@lalagp hi I'm fine now just get tired quite easily but that's a mixture of getting over covid and being pregnant I suppose.
I was quite poorly for over a week I couldn't hardly stay awake n when I was awake I felt so weak n tired. Hope you have a speedy recovery n don't feel too poorly x
