Any advice is more than welcome 🙏🏻
I’m 14 weeks exactly with my second baby, and I’m suffering so badly. Im dizzy, weak, feeling sick all day everyday, and I’m sick if I do anything even shower! It’s like I can’t move!
I’ve been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I cannot eat the foods I’m supposed to because I just can’t stand anything, when I do fancy something it’s carbs like just a plain piece of bread or a slice of toast. I’ve had 2 anti sickness meds and I’m still sick on them.
I’d love to know what has helped you? Any advice is definitely welcome at this point.
I cannot parent my 8 year old, or be a wife! I’m completely bed ridden x

You have my sympathy as I was completely like this, but with my first.

Don't worry about being a wife, you'll DH will survive and as for your DD, she will be fine for most things, get her to lie with you if you can and read or watch tv together.

Things that helped me were drinking plenty, you gave to keep your blood pressure up. Ginger can help as well.

I can sympathise with you also as my sickness for the first 20 weeks was unbareable and I felt actually depressed! It totally wipes you out and gets you down, everything was just too hard to do and I felt awful on my partner having to do everything round the house etc but he didn't mind at all! The meds didn't help me either, I know it can last all the way through for a small percentage of women but most women do get alot better by around 18-20 weeks, I know alot of people say you'll be better after first 12 weeks but I think just be patient and it will definitely ease in time, just try and rest as much as possible x

You poor thing! The only think I would suggest is trying another medication- have you tried ondansetron? That’s the third line drug that helps a lot of women. Has helped me when the other drugs didn’t.

Hi OP, I just wanted to say hello and extend a nauseous hug and Thanks to you. 14 weeks pregnant here too and I feel like my health has dropped off a cliff edge. I keep reading online hoping to find some reassurance that I'll feel better soon. Currently suffering with hay fever too so got a real double whammy of feeling awful. I want to be excited about our baby but I'm just so exhausted and sickly I can't muster it!
