Hello all,
So from the title I’m in quite a mess at the moment. Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby since last December. I had a late period in March (about 8 days late) then AF made an appearance. The first day of my last period was 22nd April. Around my fertile days 10th to 14 May we did the deed and I experienced spotting on 20th May.
A few weeks after I started getting cramps that felt like a period but didn’t. I have sore breast/nipples and had a week of smelling weird things (vegetables and parsnips? Don’t ask!) I have big boobs anyway and my BF commented on how big they are! I have done many (lost count) at home tests and even went for a blood test 2 weeks ago. Came back as 0.20 and had one yesterday and same result. I feel like I am pregnant, my body feels weird.

I just need some advice on what to do next as my doctor told me to wait for 3 months if I don’t have my period. And to be honest I think that’s to long, am I being silly to ask for a ultrasound? Has anyone been in this situation before? Thank you lovely ladies!

I think you'll be lucky to get an NHS scan if your blood results have all come back negative. You could pay for a private ultrasound but given you've never had a positive test I think it would be a waste of money.

I was TTC for 10 years & many times was convinced I was pregnant when I wasn't. When you want to be pregnant so much you can actually manifest physical symptoms, there's more info here:

Hoping you got your BFP very soon x

If you were pregnant and the level was 0.20 you wouldn’t feel pregnant. This is all in your head.

It sounds like a very very very early chemical pregnancy. It took me many years and ivf to conceive so I get your obsession. Please relax and try again when you next have a cycle.

Oh and a ultrasound is absolutely pointless. You need to be about 5 weeks to even see a tiny sac which equates to over 1000hcg.
