Chest pain when standing 33 weeks

I’ve already seen my GP in this pregnancy when I was having palpitations and I was diagnosed with iron deficiency, which I’ve been taking supplements for.

The GP followed me up and I mentioned the palpitations were much better but that when standing I still feel like my heart is pounding and my chest hearts. I have a 24 hour ECG next month.

But today I’ve been relaxing in the living room and just walked through to the kitchen to get some food and I felt like I was going to pass out. It’s not so much pain but my whole chest feels so heavy.

Baby, in general, has been quieter the past few days but definitely been moving and was very active last night so I’m not too concerned. I have felt kicks while writing this post!

It’s ok when I’m sitting, lying down or even walking but at soon as I stand still I just feel like my heart is going to beat out my chest!

What could this be? And should I speak with maternity triage or go back to my GP? Not sure what else they could do if I’m already scheduled for the ECG. Has anyone else had this?

I would phone GP for advice as it’s chest pain & if they can’t see you maybe go to walk in centre- best to get it checked, baby sounds fine but it sounds like it needs investigation sooner than a month. If it’s nothing then at least it will put your mind at rest x
