Breastpump.please help!

Hi.

I am 7 weeks postpartum and I am having continuous bleeding which stopped at 2 weeks but started again at 4 weeks since then it's on and off. And i noticed since I switched to double breastpump or after breastpump session i feel contraction and there is gush of blood. Is breast pumping causing bleesing. Anyone experience this? Because i had scan and swab test. Everything was fine.

By I’d go see a doctor if I were you. The breast pump might be a red herring. I had the same bleeding problem as you and it turned out to be a womb infection which needed some antibiotics. All turned out fine.

Are you passing any clots?

Just my experience though! Again probably best to reach out to an actual dr rather than Mumsnet maybe?

I had all the checkup for infection & for placenta leftover scan. Everything was fine.

Both times after having my babies I bled for six weeks after. Yes there was sometimes a heavier flow after pumping / feeding, just as there was if I'd walked around a bit too much and not rested enough.

Are you sure it's not post partum blood loss? Are you sure it's not a period? It's not impossible to have you cycle back already.

Its been 3 weeks it's on. How could be period?
