Mucus plug? WARNING TMI **

Hi,

I noticed this mucus when I wiped. I'm 33 weeks pregnant. I've been pregnant before but had to have an elective csection so I didn't experience the loss of a mucus plug or anything.

Is this normal? there's no foul smell. It's a jelly like texture and it's a snot like colour.

I usually have pale white discharge, nothing mucusy though

Things down there do feel "different" I can't exactly describe how almost like softer?

I've had no bleeding or no water loss.

Is this just a normal experience or is there anything I need to be aware of?

Apologies for the TMI of this post and the pic, I'm an anxious soon to be mum.

Probably a little bit. If no blood, it's normally not anything to worry about. It can regenerate, even if you lose all of it (and this is only a tiny bit).

Keep an eye on things, but mostly a 'non-issue'.

@physicskate thanks so much for the reply! I had no loss like this with my firstborn so I had abit of a panic

Fairly standard discharge for me during pregnancy.
Even if it is some plug it regenerates so can grow back.
