So this is my first post here and my first pregnancy and I was just after some advice as I'm driving myself (and my partner) insane. Found out I was pregnant around two weeks ago and I've been taking various tests since which I enjoyed watching get darker at first but I've convinced myself that the one I took this morning is lighter than yesterday's and now I'm more anxious than ever! I have no idea how many weeks I am because I have pcos and extremely irregular periods. I've only been trying for a month or so, so I'm guessing very early on and extremely lucky to have fallen pregnant so quickly! I have had no pain or any bleeding at all (touches wood). Please will someone just reassure me that I'm loosing my mind over nothing?! See pics below. Top test is today and second one down is yesterday. Thanks in advance xx

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

My advise, stop testing. Enjoy the moment.

(You may not be able to post pics with it being your first post)

Hi, I am in the same boat boat as you! Found out 3 weeks ago I was pregnant but tests are not getting darker at all, they are all really light midwife reassures me some women are like that and to stop testing but she is bookinge for an emergency scan as I don't know how far I am (had coil removed 6/7 weeks ago) so not far really. But yes I feel your pain I too am worried something Is wrong, congratulations though I'm sure everything will be fine 😁

Ladies please, stop testing! At some point the hcg levels get so high that the pregnancy test can't read it properly. At that point getting fainter lines does not mean sth is going wrong!

@Lauralouise88 nice to know someone is in the same boat :) I've decided not to test anymore, I thought it would give me reassurance but instead I've turned into a anxious wreck which can't be good for baby! Testing isn't going to change anything I suppose so will leave it up to fate to decide however daunting that may seem! Xx
