Early scan worry

Hi all,

I went for an early scan thanks to very long cycles, the sonography dated me at 6+1 (though I think I'm a couple of days behind that). The pregnancy was definitely in my uterus and there was a circular white sac visible with something in it, but they couldn't really see properly and there wasn't a visible heartbeat.
I'm going back in two weeks but I'm so worried. I've had mcs in the past and can't help but think it's history repeating itself.
The sonography did keep reiterating that it could be because it's just too early but I'm feeling pretty anxious about it.
Has anyone got any positive stories regarding inconclusive scans?

Had an inconclusive scan to date me as I have irregular periods. All they could tell me was that there was "something there" and it would either turn into nothing or a baby. I went home so confused.

DS is currently falling asleep next to me.

Obviously it doesn't always end positively, but I hope you get the outcome you want

@KitchenLemon I had the same a few weeks back, I thought I was 6 weeks and a few days but they dated me at 5 weeks. They couldn't see anything in my uterus. They scanned me a few weeks later and the baby was there. It was still too early to hear a heartbeat though. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry, it's probably just too early.

Thank you so much for your replies Thanks
We have another scan booked now for the week after next so will try to stay positive until then.

I was admitted to hospital for 10 days, initially with severe stomach/back pain , negative pregnancy tests then retested and positive. Early scans initially found nothing, blood numbers rose but didn't double (turns out due to poor record keeping and not enough time between samples) and ended up having an emergency op as I collapsed on the ward...suspected ectopic pregnancy.
That pregnancy is about to turn 5 as d snoring away upstairs!
Was rescanned the next day and could be seen but too early for heartbeat so then Had a long two week wait following the surgery to my next scan when all was ok and everything firmly where it should be!

Sending positive vibes your way!
