?

why could you not eat pizza?

boymum88 · 27/06/2021 13:51

Yes you can eat pizza. Look on the nhs website has a full list of foods they advise you don't eat

www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/keeping-well/foods-to-avoid/

toomuchfaster · 27/06/2021 13:52

Look up the list of suggested food to avoid on the NHS website. Then put whatever you want on a pizza that isn't on that list!

WhoUsedMyName · 27/06/2021 13:52

Yes Confused unless it's laced with poison because that can be harmful.
Also what toppings because now I want a pizza lol

LaLaMelyn · 27/06/2021 13:54
Grin

Oh OP.

You can eat pizza.

PumpkinKlNG · 27/06/2021 13:55

Is this real?

Mummyof2andapig · 27/06/2021 13:56

Satire?

Rosesareyellow · 27/06/2021 13:59

This is a joke right?
Besides, pizza made properly isn’t ‘junk’.
Morning sickness may still kick in in which case actual beige junk food may well be all you’ll survive on for the next 6 or 7 weeks.

dementedpixie · 27/06/2021 14:00

Yes you can eat pizza
You can even have cured meats/ blue cheese on your pizza as they will get heated enough to make them safer to eat

Chelyanne · 27/06/2021 14:09

Damn right you can have pizza.

I do love a pizza night, such an easy cook

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 27/06/2021 14:14

what were the mixed reviews?
3 star rating for Dominos?

Mousetown · 27/06/2021 14:15

For goodness sake. Use some common sense.

It's going to be a very long 9 months...

@ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba

To be fair I've never not been ill after a Domino's so I am a Papa John's girl, pregnant or not 🤣

OP unless your idea of a pizza is a pate base with unpasteurised goats cheese and raw oysters as a topping it's fine. PP have already posted the link to the NHS guidance on what to avoid, just use that and avoid Dr Google (for most things, tbh).

mn2022 · 27/06/2021 14:30

@Touloser

It's going to be a very long 9 months...
A very long few decades if it continues once the child is born.
Sleepyquest · 27/06/2021 14:30

@8dpwoah the very thought of that makes me feel illConfused

OP you need to use some common sense or the next 8 months are going to be tedious for you and anyone who knows you

PumpkinKlNG · 27/06/2021 14:33

Actually this could be real, I remember going to a restaurant with my sister and her friend a couple of years back and she asked us if she was allowed to eat chips 😂🤦‍♀️ And she was being serious

nonsensenow · 27/06/2021 14:53

I remember asking my husband if I was allowed Chinese food when I was about 5 weeks pregnant (I think I was concerned about MSG in takeaways).

He calmly replied 'what do you think pregnant women eat in China?'

Pregnancy sends you bonkers.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 27/06/2021 14:57

If it’s not on the NHS list of foods to avoid or eat in moderation, you’re fine. In the nicest way possible, relax!

OhBiscuits · 27/06/2021 15:01

When I was pregnant with DD I craved pizza! I once had DH stop the car so I could get a Dominos pizza to scoff all to myself. We’d just been for lunch Grin As others have mentioned, the NHS have a good guide.

Enjoy! 🍕

Thefaceofboe · 27/06/2021 15:23

Of course you can have pizza? Confused

8dpwoah · 27/06/2021 16:03

Next time anyone asks you if you've had any weird cravings you can have that reply on me 😉

I had the strongest squidgiest goats' cheese the farm shop had for sale once DD had arrived safely and I can't wait to do the same again but pate and oysters even on there own 🤢

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 27/06/2021 20:23

I am incredibly lucky that 99% of what’s on the banned list I don’t like anyway and I didn’t suddenly start craving it in either pregnancy.

Princesspickle777 · 27/06/2021 20:27

Yes of course you can eat pizza! There’s no reason why not to. Who ever/where ever you read that you can’t is nonsense. As above take a look on the nhs website. There’s not that much you can’t have these days.
