Hello!
I am 11 weeks and have had mild cramps throughout the whole pregnancy so far which I just ruled down to stretching pains. The past couple days however I have had this really sharp pain in my lower stomach on one side when I move or stand up too fast. It takes my breath away! I even had it when I laughed too hard this morning. It's worrying me slightly so just want someone to either tell me it's normal or if I need to get it looked at!

Could it be round ligament pain? I was shocked to suddenly get such sharp pains when suddenly moving or sneezing at about 10 weeks. Fortunately I had my booked in appointment a week or so later and she checked me over and said it sounded like round ligament pain and she didn’t have any concerns otherwise. I had a referral to physio and they were great. I’ve learn to manage it and it’s eased off. Hope yours does too x

That sounds like round ligament pain. I get it when I move too fast or sneeze!

Thank you! After a quick google it definitely sounds like that's what it is. Thankfully I don't have it when I sneeze and I hope it stays that wayGrin
