Lower Back pain 11 weeks

11+5 first pregnancy.

Severe lower back pain for 3 days on the trot, period like pains, pains in my groin and shooting pain right inside my crotch. Phoned midwives twice they’re really not bothered and just keep saying “if you’ve no bleeding don’t worry, take paracetamol”. Said they’ll scan me “sometime next week” if it continues….

Has anybody experienced similar?

You may have a water infection? They are very common is pregnancy and often confused with normal pregnancy symptoms.

I’m currently 11.2weeks, had similar pains but with bleeding too. I Went to the hospital and they found I have a water infection.

Unfortunately for me the bleeding and pains haven’t stopped after 3days of antibiotics so I don’t think my symptoms are to do with my infection.

Drink plenty just encase and rest as much as you can. x
