Sorry for the tmi...

Call your midwife or pregnancy unit. You need to be seen this morning.

Not to worry you but I was a similar gestation and a urine infection had irritated my womb and was threatening labour. It was all fine in the end, but only because of urgent medical attention

Tippytaps · 25/06/2021 08:37

Just reread, your baby movements have also changed? If so, don’t wait to call just head straight to A&E - one where there is a maternity unit attached

ApplesandBananas21 · 25/06/2021 08:44

Yep I'd get yourself over the hospital ASAP

xx200xx · 25/06/2021 08:54

I just rung them up then, and they told me not to worry u less it turns to loads of blood etc...

I'd still go OP- like they said it's probably nothing to worry about but they can check you over properly there-

Thesaltandthesea · 25/06/2021 09:02

Increased movements also need to be checked

ApplesandBananas21 · 25/06/2021 09:03

It's any change in movements op.
I would still want checked over

squishyegg · 25/06/2021 09:08

I'd 100% want to be seen

1940s · 25/06/2021 09:33

Insist on going in

Piecrust32 · 25/06/2021 10:03

Please Go get checked op

SHB2021 · 25/06/2021 18:28

They should see you regardless just to be safe.
I had this several times in my last pregnancy from about 20 weeks onwards.
Eventually they found some polyps and quite a large one around the head of my cervix. They got irritated occasionally and would bleed.
They lasered one off when I was about 32 weeks I think. And then it settled.
Try not to worry - it’ll likely be something outside of where baby is; but they definitely need to check this out for you.

AngelDelightUk · 25/06/2021 18:57

Do go and get checked. It’s better to annoy them now than regret it

Tippytaps · 26/06/2021 20:38

@xx200xx how are you doing? I hope all is well

Was just thinking the same, hope all okay OP

xx200xx · 27/06/2021 00:45

@Tippytaps @Frazzledd

everything is okay today well it seems if! The hospital wasn't answering the phone for a good while and just told me to go in if the bleeding was any worse🤷🏻‍♀️ thank you xx

Glad your okay OP - Are you going to see your midwife next week? I'd still want to be seen and a scan to check things like placenta position, fibroids or if there's anything causing a little pressure that might have something to do with the bleed.

It might be absolutely nothing but always worth checking over Flowers

bob1985 · 27/06/2021 06:47

Glad all appears ok.

Not to worry you op i had the same albeit i was 33 weeks. Over the phone midwife told me not to worry...couple days later i was in labour and it had been a 'show'.

So just to echo what others have said, get seen just in case

Yes I'm gonna! I'm not happy with the hospital at all really... just hoping everything is okay as it does seem it. But my community midwife is on leave also :( but I have been talking to another midwife but she was to busy that day to see me. The hospital is a bit away and rely on my partner's dad to drive as that's the only transport at the moment x

I am happy things seem okay.

You can call 111 for a second opinion, or book a doctors appointment.
