Pregnancy Worries

Hi all,

I've recently found out I'm pregnant, about 2 weeks ago.

I did a test originally because I had spotting around the days flo had predicted my period. It lasted for a few days on and off. Since then I have had awful stomach ache which comes and goes. Its mainly central but I've also had more bowl movements. The pains is like that of a period cramps.

I've been freaking out since, I called my doctors and they were more concerned with it being a bladder infection but nothing came back from my sample.

I have a horrible guy feeling that something is wrong and keep convincing myself it must be eptopic.

I guess I'm just after advice, did anyone else have similar pains? On and off across the days? I have an early scan booked for the weekend but I'm just racked with worry

@Stresshead129
Hiya, I had similar pains/cramps and it's the cyst that comes from the egg so it's very normal.
An ectopic is very painful and incredibly tender to push on.
Still worth getting checked, but I'd try not worry, as it sounds like it's not agony.. xx

I had this with both my pregnancies and had the same concerns with #1 but everything was fine. Try not to worry - I'll have my fingers crossed for you!

Go to a&e, explain the main your in and they will do tests for you. I went on Monday evening, I was so worried as I didn't have any typical ectopic pains, but I was in a lot of pain in one place on my stomach.

They did loads of tests and referred me to the early pregnancy unit, which I went to on Wednesday and back there again today for more blood tests.

You need to confirm if the pain your having is normal. I think my pain may have been a stomach bug I caught, but the pain being in my stomach made me think the worst - but should have results back within the next 3 hours.

Good luck x

Period cramps can be totally normal - it's your uterus stretching. If you're worried though, get checked out.

Thanks guy :-).

I went to A&E and after what feels like a million blood tests and many people examining me, it's all in the right place.

I'm still in a lot of stomach pain but I'm being told its normal as my body is changing. No one told me this is what I should expect so I've been a bag of worry.
