Hi, i wondered if anyone else has experienced this.
At my 20 week scan i had a low lying placenta and a small bleed. Due to a previous c section they were concerned my placenta maybe stuck to the scar tissue so i had to go back for a rescan at 29 weeks.
At the scan the bleed had gone but my placenta is still covering my cervix. She also measured the cervix which was 2.3cm apparently its supposed to be 3-4cm. For this reason she said i will go into labour before 37 weeks.
I thought that's fine and didnt really question it. When i got home i read my notes and it said at my next scan in 3 weeks time if nothing has changed a planned csection will be arranged at 34-36 weeks. She didn't tell me that timescale! Now im freaking out having a prem baby.
Has anyone got any stories of this happening to them previously?
