First period after birth

Hi all I got my first period 7 days ago today and itnwasntnwhat inwas expecting it was heavier than normal more of a watery blood and only clotted a small amount? By day 5 the bleeding was very light I had a bath a d it seemed like it stopped but since last night and this morning theres blood wen I wipe ... did anyone else have this is this something I should be concerned about .

It takes a while for your body to settle back down.. I wouldn’t personally worry at this stage especially if you’re breastfeeding or not experiencing any pain.
Do you have a check with your GP after so many weeks? Have you had this? If not you could always ask to speak to a nurse at your surgery just to rest your mind but I must admit it sounds totally normal..
